The process of improving the entire physical plant for St. Charles Catholic first began with the Administration's realization over many years of the need for new and improved facilities. The next step was to embark upon a comprehensive and competitive selection process to identify a qualified and engaged design professional. This effort was followed closely by the inspection and investigation of the current existing campus, a series of in-depth face-to-face meetings with Administrators, Faculty and Staff, and the ultimate development of a Master Plan "overview" that identified every known existing physical deficiency and every imagined future need.
St. Charles Catholic's current building image severely maligns the quality of the educational and social development product that has been offered therein for decades. One of the very first priorities of St. Charles Catholic’s Administration, Faculty and Staff was to put a new, yet functional face on the existing building by adding a New Entry Pavilion, a new Cafeteria expansion, and new high-efficiency brick, stucco and glass exterior walls.
The Additions will include a Gymnasium, a North Academic Wing, a Chapel and Campus Courtyard, Band Rehearsal Hall, parking and security. The Renovations will include converting the existing gymnasium into Auditorium/ Theater and improving the existing Academic and Administration Spaces.
